George Mason's Gunston Hall - Exterior Restoration Historic Preservation Sep 30 Written By Ben Bristow Black Creek Workshop was happy to have the opportunity to work on George Mason's Gunston Hall for the NSDCA-VA. Gunston Hall was the 18th century home of George Mason - American Founder, advocate of the Bill of Rights and a friend/neighbor to George Washington. Gunston Hall is also a wonderful example of 18th century architecture. Black Creek Workshop performed extensive exterior repairs and repainting of the structure. Work included stripping and repainting of all wood surfaces, replacement and repair of columns and trim, window repair, window glazing replacement. -2016 Ben Bristow
