#tattools is a BCW side project with tattoo artist Neil Dion @weirdtrails. Neil is a former Black Creek apprentice and retro style afficionado who gets our passion for old tools and historic preservation. The #tattools sticker collection contains 9 classic hand tools interpreted by Neil in his signature tattoo style.
We created this series to share our passion for the hand tools we love and use every day. As a historic preservation contractor, our mission to save old buildings also extends to preserving historic trades and the craftsmanship that is fundamental to this work.
We chose stickers to creatively highlight our passion for old tools and inspire others to work more with their hands. The full collection will also make up a traditional tattoo flash sheet and be featured on limited edition posters and tee shirts.
